Getting very antsy here in MA with the warm weather on it's way and have been thinking non-stop about our upcoming cruise! I have sailed Carnival twice so I cannot compare, but I can imagine! That said, I have a few questions about Princess...

 

1) Is there a "sail away" party when leaving FLL port?

2) Is there a scheduled deck party one night?

3) Do they have a "drink of the day"?

4) How big are the drinks? Little clear plastic cups or nice big ones?

5) Are there souviner cups (can you see a trend in my questions here?)

6) What type of blankets/comforters are there? I will be on the Ruby

7) Would anyone have a price list of spa services from the CB or Emerald?

8) Is there a band that plays on the deck during the day?

9) Are you able to see your ever-increasing cruise "tab" on the tv? If not, can you go to the pursers desk to get one?

10) Would anyone have a price list of drinks?

11) We are booked in cabin B749...any comments, pictures? (the movement doesnt bother us)

11) We have sailed in B749 on the Emerald. Nice, very private aft cabin. Balcony is completely covered. Movement doesn't bother us either, but head to toe rolling action while in bed took some getting used to...head of bed faces port, foot faces starboard. A lot of people like the aft cabins. We're happy we tried, but probably won't do it again.

Yes That's "Yes" at the purser's desk. It is "no" on the TV.
