Cabin price listings online..Question

Recommended Posts

How come when I'm looking online at cruises...I see suites listed for a certain amount..I get excited..about the $$. Then..when I look at the price..the price is NOT for a suite (Jr or otherwise) It's for a balcony! (Deluxe or Suite)

Can't they list the "Deluxe" separate?

Is a "Deluxe" a D1?

To me..it's a little misleading. I get all excited thinking.."This is a great price for a Jr suite" and it's not at all.

How is a "Deluxe" any better than a regular balcony? Thanks. :)

Deluxe is a regular cabin E- I think. D's are Superiors JS's start the "suite" designation. It's much easier to just call RCI on the phone and get prices for what you want--they have ALL the available cabins, instead of the few they list online.

I agree -- the on-line TAs often show misleading price offers to bring you in. Call RCCI or go through a faux booking at the RCCI website to see the price for the actual cabin you want, then go through the same process with the on-line TA site to see just what they are charging for the room you want. The teasers they offer up front are just that -- teasers to get you to come in uninformed.
