Gty. for 11/29/08-already assigned...

We are sailing on the Ruby Princess 11/29/08, booked a GTY cabin and I just checked and we already have a cabin number! Wow, I just didn't expect to have a cabin number this soon. Our last cruises have been 1 week before.

 

Anyone think it might change before we leave? Or do you think it is set?

Chances are quite high that will be your cabin; not impossible to change, but quite unlikely to do so.

We are sailing 11-26-08 on the Golden Princess. We booked a OV gty. We have been upgraded twice since May. We hope to stay in the most recent assigned cabin but we are not counting on it. My understanding of a gty is that the cruiseline may change cabin assignments as many times as they want to prior to the day of sailing as long as they assign a cabin that is equal to or more upgraded than the catagory you booked.

:) Oh we most certainly will have a great cruise. It is just interesting with the GTY cabins and seeing when others have received their cabins, what category and what not.
