jpg1747 Posted May 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Just got back from a cruise on the Caribbean Princess. Happy to report they have a great variety of very tasty sugar free desserts, plus sugar free syrup, jam and ice cream. Only thing missing was a sugar free sorbet/sherbet. This is definitely good news! I'll be on the Diamond next week, but i'm sure they share similar menus fleetwide. Question -- do they have those desserts in the dining rooms or just at the buffet? jpg1747 Posted July 10, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted July 10, 2008 This is definitely good news! I'll be on the Diamond next week, but i'm sure they share similar menus fleetwide. Question -- do they have those desserts in the dining rooms or just at the buffet? Sugar free desserts were available in the dining room and the buffet. They even brought me sugar free jam at the afternoon tea for my scone.
Sea Hag Posted July 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2008 Their sugarfree desserts are good too! I liked the sugarfree version of the chantilly swan (cream puff shaped like a swan) better than the regular one. The sugarfree version had a strawberry sauce instead of the chocolate sauce the regular version had.
FritzG Posted July 19, 2008 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2008 If you have lunch in the dining room there won't be any sugar-free desserts on the menu, but if you ask your waiter they always have something great. Also if you don't see any sugar-free desserts at Horizon Court ask for them.
