Changing tickets

We have a Panama Canal cruise in Feb. of 2009, it ends in Acupulco. We have already booked airfare through Orbitz. Now we have a chance to spend an additional week in Acupulco. I realize there is an extra charge for making changes. Question is, has any one done this through Orbitz , was it hassel free?:)

I don't book through Orbitz, but my ex does and he's changed reservations for our son. If the dates can be changed, you have to pay their fee, and the airline change fee and any change in the price of the airfare.

 

Orbitz states change fees average $130 per ticket; this does not include the possible difference in flight between the old and new fare:
