555lavan1t Posted May 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2008 My wife and I have cruised on Regent Seven Seas ships several times but In July it will be our first time on the RSSC Navigator, a much smaller ship. Our favorite activity on both the Mariner and the Voyager was dancing in the lounges - ballroom dances. I have looked on the Regent website to see what style dancing and live music is available on the Navigator but haven't been able to find an answer. Can anyone who has cruised on the Navigator tell me if live music and ballroom style dancing is a standard offering?
cb at sea Posted June 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2008 There is usually a combo playing somewhere on the ship that will play music suitable for ballroom dancing. There isn't an "orchestra", tho.
nkpeeps Posted August 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Hi I was a dance host for Regent once. I am sure they will have ballrom style dancing somewhere on the ship since they usually have dance hosts just for that reason. if there are not a lot of people dancing you can make requests. Anna B. Posted August 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2008 We were on the Navigator last Feb. They had live music, dancing and hors d'oevres every night before dinner in Galileo's (deck 11-aft). Enjoy your cruise-we loved the Navigator!
Anna B. Posted August 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Sorry, I meant to say ballroom dancing. Actually it was fun to watch, but a little intimidating for those of us who don't know what they're doing!
