So far, the Voyager class ships are my favorite. We haven't been on the Radiance class yet, but we are going to Alaska on the Serenade in July. Looking forward to it!

I noticed that you're from Alvarado. My wife and I are both from Cleburne. Small world, huh? Although we now live in Alabama, Texas will always be home to us.

Both the Radiance Class and Voyager class are great. For the younger crowd, definately the Voyager class. Once you have gone on a Voyager Class ship, everything else seems SMALL!

1/03 RCCL Brilliance of the Seas
3/03 Carnival Jubilee
8/03 RCCL Navigator Of the Seas

Voyagerclass is something really out of this world, but since you´re so cutoff from seeing the actual sea you might not feel you´re cruising at all I loved all the extra things to do, and since I´m part of the younger crowd I loved the nightlife too. BUT, I would rather go with Radianceclass. Almost all the fun things like the rockwall and extra restaurants, but you get a more direct feel of the ocean.

No matter what class och ship you choose, it´s gonna feel perfect, because you´re on vacation !!!!

Having only sailed on Vision class ships so far, I guess I should refrain from voting. It is interesting to see the order of preference so far though.

Having looked all of these ships over on RCI's web site, I have a feeling that I'll like the Radiance class ships the best. I have two future cruises on deposit with one being a Voyager class and the other a Soveriegn class. I have yet to find that prefect Radiance class cruise that fits into our budget.

We have been on all the RCI classes (our most recent was AOS in October and Brilliance last month). In terms of size and design, we probably would put the Radiance class at the top or our list (we think the Vision class is just too large and more like a Hyatt Regency than a ship). The only negative we found on the Brilliance was the lack of pool deck outdoor grill for lunch. Yes, they do have the small pizza place, but this just serves cardboard pizza and a few types of rollup sandwiches. The bottom line is that you need to go inside for lunch which means drying-off and putting on a cover-up. Its a minor thing, but we hate anything to interfere with our pool/deck chair time (smile). Hey! Its a tough life but someone has to do it.
