Dam Dollars and B2B cruises

Are you able to accumulate your dam dollars and "spend" them at the end of your second cruise on a back to back?

We always let the cruise staff know that we will be staying on board and will be saving our "dam dollars" for the next cruise. Have never had a problem.

Technically, probably not. Realistically, I seriously doubt they'd make an issue. :)

By being able to save Dam Dollars from one cruise to the other on the same ship (the ships use different colored dam dollars) we have been able to "buy" much better items!!

Dam Dollars -- on the daily program there will be a symbol indicating which activities you can earn a dam dollar by participating in. Sometimes there are 3 or 4 activities a day. Here is what I postedf on another thread.

Dam Dollars -- there are certain acitivites that have this symbol in front of them where you can earn these Dam Dollars. Sometimes you will earn only 1 dollar but other times you might get 2 or 3 dam dollars. Near the end of the cruise you can turn in them for Dam Dollar Prizes. The prizes vary by ship and the amount of dollars you need to "buy" these prizes also depends on the length of the cruise. Some prizes are not on all ships.

 

For this cruise:

5 dam dollars - Mug

5 dam dollars - Luggage tag

10 dam dollars - Picture frame

10 dam dollars - Water bottle

15 dam dollars - Baseball cap

15 dam dollars - T-shirt

20 dam dollars - Beach towel

25 dam dollars -- Sweatshirt

The rules differ by ship. On most ships you will get one dam dollar for particcipation. The winner may get as much as 5 dam dollars. Some of the activities are putt-putt golf; golf chipping; line dancing; shuffleboard; etc.
