Atlantis beach day and a short port stay

I have booked a room at the Comfort Inn and Suites when my cruise arrives in Nassau. I was planning to visit Atlantis for the day, but I just realized that the ship will only be in port from 7 AM to 2 PM. Now I am thinking that this will not allow my husband and I enough time to enjoy the resort. The hotel fee is $174 and I am thinking about canceling our reservation. We may not get to Atlantis until 9 AM and we would have to leave around 12:30 to head back to the ship. Would it be best to cancel and just see Atlantis on our own without beach/pool access?

No Brainer... that is just not enough time to warrant the costs of the hotel.

I think that the excursion thru the ship for Atlantis is 4 hours at $159pp... for the cost of the room you will get almost 4 hours but it does not include transportation. Is it just 2 of you?

If not sure try the Yellowbird, drink a bunch of punch and you might think your in Atlantis! lol
