QV Southampton Embarkation

Can anyone advise what time embarkation usually begins for QV sailings out of Southampton?

 

Also, what currency is in use on board QV, Sterling us US$?

When are you sailing? I'm sailing on June 10th. It would be great to see you and Ruth!

 

My cabin is on Deck 8, and that is the first deck to board. 12.30pm is the scheduled boarding time. Other decks board at later times.

 

The US dollar is used onboard.

18th July.... up to the Baltic. Coming over on QM2 and returning NYC imediately after QV on QM2.

 

Doesn't Queen's Grill get priority boarding regardless of deck?

Yes, QG can board anytime once embarkation begins.

Our relatives will be diving us from Bournemouth to Southampton on June 22nd to board the QV. If we arrive at 11:30, will lunch be available, or should I plan to have something before I board?
