Pictures in TR

I really want to write up a TR about my cruise. I would like to include pictures in the thread. I open a new tab and call up the desired pic on Webshots. I copy the URL in the box on the right of the picture. I return to [this] page and I hit the insert image icon, the pop-up comes up. I delete the already-there http:// I paste the URL of the Webshots pic. What appears in my thread is the dreaded white box with the red X...? Help!
