Awesome! I have soooooo enjoyed your review and all the pics. I wish everyone added pics to their reviews. It's almost like we were there with you. So, when is your next cruise? You must be thinking of another one??? I'm usually planning my next one before I leave on one. My next is not until April 2010 so reviews like yours helps me cope;)

May 11: Disbarkment Day

So last night we left our suitcases outside our room. We got our group tags, group #4. We felt pretty lucky to be US citizens this morning; those who were not had to get up SOOOO early to deal with that! Ours was in one of the first groups called at about 9:45, so we made our way down to the atrium with our carry-ons. The line was stretched into the casino by this point! We stood in line for a minute, and the line started moving, pretty quickly actually! We passed by our tablemates and said one last goodbye. One last ding of the S&S card and we were off the ship...:(

We were waved through to where a man was 'checking' documents. However, it is the opinion of DH and myself that he was checking us more than he was the duty slips and passports. He cleared us and we went to claim our bags. We were led to a huge storage area and got our bags no problem. There was a porter immediately accessible to help us with our bags.

As we were about to leave the terminal, we saw a desk. We went over to inquire about the Florida Aquarium, as we had heard they would store our bags. Our flight didn't leave PIE until like 4:30, so we figured we had until at least 1:30 to do whatever. The desk employees told us we could store all of our bags there for a $7.00 flat rate. (Just pick them up before 4:00.) Sweet deal, because then we were free to do anything, not just limited to the Aquarium.

We leave the terminal. There's a row of outside bistro-type tables next to the building.... where we saw our 'neighbors'! Their flight wasn't until like 10 PM or something! We sat with them for quite some time. That was pretty cool. There were cops directing traffic and pedestrians. One was jokingly going back and forth with a taxi driver. He threatened to charge the taxi rent! Then guess what, our tablemates walked by! The six of us chatted, then neighbors went to the IMAX to see Iron Man. We would loved to have gone with them, but didn't quite have time. So DH & I with our tablemates to have one last meal together. We headed for Bennigans, but then realized there was also Hooters. Tablemates had never been to Hooters, but DH & I talked them into it... it's still vacation, and their food really is good! They loved their food, and we all loved having our last meal together... now that was cool!

One last look at a Legend......

When it was time, we took our claim tickets to the terminal building and retreived our bags. An employee helped us out with our bags and got us a taxi. (There were still taxis along the street.)

No more paaalm treeeeeeesss :( :( :(

I love the colours of the second seahorse. Now I want one :(, but I was there in Sept. and didn't know. I'll put it on my list of things to look for if I get back there on a future cruise.

Caymanite is the name of the stone.

I have the business card of the artist who crafted my necklace, Launa Batten. The card does include an email address: CAYBAT1@YAHOO.COM

Maybe if you contact her, you can order through her...?

Carrie: Have you got your seahorse soddered (sp?) yet? Are you planning on wearing it frequently or just on special occassions? It certainly is beautiful.

I have not gotten my seahorse secured yet because... well, I just haven't. I pretty much will wear it whenever the neckline of my top allows!

Carrie: Did you see the Dream's Western itinerary? They're doing Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize, and Roatan! Wow, what great ports! I've still never been to Costa Maya, but have heard great things about it. And, I LOVE the other ports!

Carrie, where did your husband get his shirt? My DH loves it...so do I. I would love to buy one.

I just loved your review and pictures. DH and I were on the Triumph in May and have been thinking of booking another cruise for the fall...my birthday. :D I have got to book the Legend...thanks to your wonderful review. I have been on 8 cruises...3 with Carnival...and have loved them all.

I would sure love to sail with you & your DH sometime....you seem like so much fun! Congratulations on getting a new "seahorse pendant". Reading about you opening the box made me cry. :o I also had to laugh about you not answering the door when FedEx rang in the AM....we are exactly the same way.......:p

Also, thanks for sharing your pre-cruise adventures in Florida...I loved the pics.

So, where will your next vacation be......Disneyworld or Cruise.....:D

I wish you and your dear hubby much happiness! th_pp_sm_love_024.gif

Thanks (on behalf of DH)! Believe it or not, I really think we got it at Sam's Club! They often have great camp shirts there. He's gotten quite a few of them.

Thank you very much! Yeah, but as soon as I realized whoever it was was not going to ring the bell again, I somehow knew it was my seahorse and kicked myself!

Also, thanks for sharing your pre-cruise adventures in Florida...I loved the pics.

You're welcome... and thanks for the picture comment! I figured I would include the pre-cruise part for anyone considering doing the same, a pre-cruise (or post-cruise) in the Tampa area. Some great beaches to be had, for sure!

I would be happy with either! Ahhhh.... palm trees! I think I'd prefer the cruise, especially if it stops in Cozumel!

I wish you and your dear hubby much happiness! th_pp_sm_love_024.gif

Thank you very much! Cheers to you and yours as well!

Abbi, Thank you for taking the time to read my review and to comment on it!

Happy Sailing!
