Check In Question

Recommended Posts

I am sending my son with his friend and his family on the Mariner June 29. I already did the online check in and put my credit card in there for the onboard account. Now here is my question. At the port, does he have to have the credit card with him? I can't remember from any of the times we have cruised.

Thanks in advance.

I do not remeber being asked for my credit card, at the ports. They do require you to show yor sea pass card, going ashore and back to the ship, for identification purposes.

When you check in they have to swipe the card that you are going to be using for your onboard charges. The OP is not sailing with their son but wants to pay for his charges with their credit card so the son will have to have their credit card with them to be able to use it.
