Voyager Class - outdoor Aft Bar?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

off on a short trip on Navigator of the Seas in a week.

thanks for all the previous help with cruise details!

our only 2 previous cruises have been with Celebrity Constellation and NCL Jewel.

Both had an outdoor Aft Bar at the back of the buffet which we found very enjoyable for a libation and view of the wake after a day trip but before getting ready for dinner.

is there the outdoor equivalent on RCI Voyager Class (search is down)?

thanks

paul

The Voyager class ships and above don't have outdoor seating in the back of the buffet. There is a bar as you walk in but you will have to go back onto the pool deck to get outside from there. We love the outside seating on the Brilliance too and wish they would incorporate that into the new big ships.

Yup, the 19th hole...but it is inside

Actually, the pool bar is pretty good for what he is looking for, since it rises up high from the pool, it can be a relatively quiet place as the afternoon ends.

19th hole is a quiet and relaxing place for an afternoon cocktail. Comfy couches and usually very few people, if any. Also the library on deck 7 has a very comfortable couch that overlooks the Royal Promenade. The Library was actually my favorite, but obviously there is no bar. so BYOWine. I would call room service and have them bring a cheese and a fruit plate to the library. My own bottle of wine and VIOLA.

If you want to sit outside prior to dinner the pool bar is about all you will have. There are bars all over the place like the schooner bar is on deck four. You can grab a few beers and stand outside along the railing and watch the tide go by. Or you can sit up high in the Viking Crown lounge with a spectacular view of the entire ship and ocean.

Cheers
