bluesea777 Posted June 11, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2008 Where did you hear about this??? I think that place has shut down already. There is a Glass Blowing Studio at Dockyard.
iheartbda Posted June 11, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2008 I don't know too much about glass blowing but I also don't think you would get much out of it as it's something that takes years to master. Go watch them at the Glass Blowing Studio at Dockyard, plus you can sample rum cakes while you watch. $175 seems like a lot of money if it hasn't shut down like bluesea says. Use that $175 for some excursion that's going to show you some of the natural beauty of Bermuda.:)

Thanks, Lisa:cool: No I don't think its worth it. You can see glass blowing demonstrations in your home town. If you want to learn how to blow glass I am sure there are extensions courses near your home. I don't know what you could learn in an hour that ou can't do by watching someone for free.... gram4haley Posted June 11, 2008 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2008 Hey Lisa00 if you are from Easton, PA, save that money and go up to Corning NY to Corning Glass. Their glass blowing workship is significantly less $. Use your time in Bermuda for more worthwhile things like the beach. Corning Glass has several different glass classes that are dirt cheap and are so much fun. Very educational for the whole family too.
