Calker Posted June 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2008 I'm putting together a list of books about cruising that I could read between now and my Freedom cruise in 2010. Anyone have any suggestions? ALVINF Posted June 12, 2008 #16 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Just about anything by Clive Cussler. Great books. I've read nearly everyone of his Dirk Pitt books. He now has another series about a disguised spy ship, The 5th one just came out. I was going to suggest POSEIDON ADVENTURE, but somebody beat me to it. Perhaps the Titanic (allthough it's non-fiction). :D

Cotton Posted June 12, 2008 #18 Share Posted June 12, 2008 I have two books by Alisa Allan that involve cruising... Winds of Change After Midnight I tried to get into Santa Cruise and Decked, but neither held my interest. I think maybe I just don't enjoy Carol Higgins Clark's writing as much as I did her mom's. Also Selling the Sea, by good ol' Bob Dickinson, can accompany this nicely with some Carnival insight as well as technical and sales aspects of the business.
