Name of winery Princess tour goes to in Santorini

Thinking of taking the Princess Santorini tour to Oia and then a winery. Is it just wine tasting or can you see the low growing vines. In NY our grapes ripen Aug into Sept. What is the season in Santorini? If I had the name of the winery I would be better informed. Thanks.

three years ago Princess took people to Boutari which is quite a large winery. YOu can also get there by bus. Oia is beautiful and also accessible by bus, try the Assyrtiko white, it tastes of peaches. Enjoy.

Does anyone know which winerys open to the public were in business back in the early 1980's? It would be fun to go to the same one I was at about 25 years ago but I can't recall the name. The wines were really good. The other question is which ones are in walking distance if one is on foot, because I probably went to one I could walk to (but could have picked up a day tour years ago too).

Check out Domaine Sigalas. They make excellent wine. However, it is off the beaten path. I rented a car for the day
