Maasdam Moviesa

The Wajang Theater is the place for movies. It is also the Cukinary Arts Center.

The Wajang "Theater" has 2 really small screens, one on each side. Not much like watching in a theater, more like watching on a big screen tv.

I was always under the impression that when it is time for a movie to be shown, a BIG screne is lowered in front of the curtains which hide the "kitchen". This is in addition to the 2 small TV's.

The small TV's are also used for the cooking demonstrations.

This is correct. The TV's are not used during the movie only the big screen.

Cheers,

For every movie we've seen on the Veendam, Statendam, and Amsterdam, both the large screen AND the two small screens were used simultaneously. The small screens are beneficial for the people off to the sides of the room. SueCruz, they must have been having some kind of a problem with the large screen on your cruise, because it is not the norm to use just the TVs.

Has anyone been on the Maasdam since December? Did they use the larger theater screen?

We're going again in November and it would be nice to see a movie on the large screen instead of the "tv screens"
