Coral World & Island Drive

Has any one done this shore excursion on ST. Thomas? And if you did what did you think about it? Was it worth the 49.00?

We loved Coral World, and spent several hours there, ate lunch at the snack bar, then walked over to Coki Beach. My recollection is that people who took the ship's excursion to Coral World had a very limited amount of time there.

Did you try the Ports of Call board. then scroll to St. Thomas. There is a wealth of info over there.

We also went to Coral World on our own and then spent most of the day on Coki Beach. Took a taxi and told him when to be back for us. He took us on a tour of other beaches before returning to the ship. Nice day. I don't remember the cost as this was a couple of years ago.

Drive each way is about $9-10 pp. Entrance fee around $18. I think if you use island taxi they give you $2 off of tickets.

We took this tour 18 months ago. Yes, it is worth it.

I tool my two daughters on that excursion last year. Coral World was very enjoyable. Would I say it was a "Top 5" excursion? No. Enjoyable and relaxing? Absolutely.

We did it years ago.... and that is probably what it is worth.
