It took me a while to learn how to use the water camera under water so some of the pictures aren't centered. I was able to get come of the Brain Coral though.

Love the review, love the pics, keep it coming!! :)

I've been over the Sunshine Skyway a few times but that was long ago. That's pretty cool to see the pics of a cruise ship going under it and so close to it, kinda crazy! Now I want to sail out of Tampa sometime.

The port of Tampa is my absolute favorite departure port. I've sailed out of her 3 times. But, the other 2 times we had early dinner since my children were with us. I really enjoyed actually being able to see us sail under the bridge this time.

I love your review. The legend is my favorit ship too. Husband & I got engaged on the Legend back on Feb 3, 2006. He set up the whole thing with the photo staff and they took amazing pictures of the whole proposal. In the end they gave us a great deal on the pictures, they took like 80 pictures during the proposal and we couldn't decide which ones we wanted...cause we liked them all. So the photo staff told us to purchase the canvas deal and take all the photos we wanted.

We can't wait to go back on the Legend.
Love the pics, I'm terrified of snorkeling / SCUBA but it looks like your boyfriend had a blast! What fun! These reviews are getting me so excited!!!
Do you enjoy swimming? If so snorkeling is not bad. You just use the snorkle so you can breathe while looking at what's below you. You will absolute love your cruise on the Legend.

It sounds as though you got a wonderful deal if all you had to do was get the Canvas package to get as many photos as you wanted. Yes, I'm sure you will always treasure the Legend.

Day 3 continued:

After our excursion we were dropped off near the port area. We walked around a bit, but since we were here last year there wasn’t much more we wanted to see. So, we went back to the ship for some lunch and relaxation. This was a good choice because it started to rain shortly after we arrived back on ship. It was nice eating lunch on the Lido deck when it wasn’t crowded.

We spent some more time exploring the ship. We ended up participating in the Trivia contest on the Lido deck. It was fun, but didn’t win anything. After a while I decided to go read on the balcony. My boyfriend is not one to sit still, so he was off to find something to do. He came back about an hour later to tell me that next time we will spend the extra time in port at Margaritaville because the ship was so dead. So, I guess that’s what we’ll be doing next time.

The Enchanted Forest. (This was a very nice place to go for relaxation without any crowds.)

You will LOVE your cruise in January. It's a great ship with an awesome staff. I really enjoyed Shawn the cruise director. She was very friendly as well as funny. :)
Yes, Mom.... Margaritaville!

I love those underwater pics! That water around Cayman is so clear... unimaginable that water can be so clear, and it's obvious in your pics.
I've been to Grand Cayman 5 times, but never gone to Margaritaville. I'll have to make a point to go there next time. Yes, the water is amazingly clear.

Day 3 continued:

Once we set sail and were far enough away from port we went to the Casino for a little while. We met up with some people who had dived with us. They were very nice and I feel bad for not remembering their names. Anyway, my boyfriend ended up playing blackjack with them. I watched. As we got ready to leave one of our new friend said that we couldn’t because I was bringing them luck. Since Russ was up by $50 we decided to leave anyway.

Tonight was the night we were eating in the Golden Fleece. I was filled with anticipation as I looked forward to the wonderful meal. I got ready first. So, I went downstairs to try the Sushi Bar. I’ve tried Sushi before, and hadn’t liked it. But the one with crab, cream cheese, and avocado was very good. I guess I need to experience with different types. I also tried a roll with tuna in it. It was also very good. I went back upstairs to see how Russ was doing as it was getting close to our 8:00 reservation. We walked upstairs and waited for the hostess to seat us. They weren’t quite ready for us, so they directed us to the bar area. I was a little disappointed because I wanted the special of the day, but they didn’t have the ingredients needed. I believe the special was the Goombay Smash. I’ve had these on previous cruises, so I know they’re awesome. But, I ended up not getting one. Instead the bartender gave me a drink made with pineapple juice and coconut rum. It was very good. Shortly thereafter we were seated at a table for 2 near the window. It was beautiful outside as the sun was just starting to go down. I think in the future we will make reservations a little earlier because it was really nice when it wasn’t quite dark yet.

It was a lovely dinner. There was someone playing the piano in the beginning. Then a wonderful singer started performing. For the appetizer I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Russ had Escargot. They brought out 2 other small appetizers. I believe one had salmon in it. The other was some kind of tomato soup. Russ got the soup and I got the salmon so we switched since I’m not much of a salmon eater. (I’m weird I like it well done.) For our main course we both had the surf and turf. The lobster had to be at least double the size of the lobster we had last night. It was sooooo good. For dessert we had the one that comes out with 4 different desserts. I know tiramisu is one of them. These were also very good, but we couldn’t eat it all because we were so full. The chef then sent out some fruit and chocolate. We would have liked to eat this as well, but we simply couldn’t. To end our evening we took a short stroll on the lido deck and enjoyed the view. But, as usual it was quite windy so we decided that we’d go to our stateroom and hang out on the balcony. (I know some people don’t really use their balconies, but we really enjoyed our time out there.)

When we returned to our stateroom we saw that our towel animal was a stingray this time. That makes sense since we were in Grand Cayman today. There was also an invitation to the past guests party and some Legends pins. I wondered why they scheduled the past guest party for the same night as Cozumel?

Upcoming our day in Cozumel!
Our past guest party was the night we left Cozumel too. Maybe they wanted to save on drinks? :D
I'm thinking you're right, but we'll get more to that later. :D

Here's a picture of the Flavored Margarita that was set up on Grand Cayman night. I think they were trying to get us pumped up for Cozumel the next day.

Day 4: Cozumel

We woke up bright and early. We had looked forward to this day since the day we booked our Twister/Passion Island excursion. We didn’t need to meet the Passion Island rep (Melizza) until 10:30 ship’s time, so we decided to eat breakfast in the dining room. We found the breakfast here to be much better than on the Lido deck. It was kind of nice to just sit and be served. After breakfast we went back to the stateroom to see how close we were to Cozumel. I was getting more excited the closer we got. You could easily see Senor Frogs and the shopping area from our balcony. Once we docked we got off the ship as soon as we could. It was another gray and drizzly day, but that wasn’t going to dash my excitement. We were going to get wet on the Twister anyway. When got off the ship we saw the sign for the Twister excursion. But, I told Russ that we needed to cross the street to meet Melizza since we had booked privately, and not with the ship. We stopped at the pharmacy to get some Naproxen since it was much cheaper here in Mexico then it is in the U.S.

Then we hurriedly walked toward the escalator that would take us to the other side of the pier area. It was still kind of early so many of the shops weren’t open yet. We explored a little as we took a leisurely walk to Carlos and Charlies. This is where we were supposed to meet Melizza. We got there a few minutes early. No one was there yet, but I wasn’t worried. We saw a horse with a sombrero on it’s head. So of course we took pictures. We also took pictures of the outside of C &C as well as Senor Frogs.

Haha!

Mom: Great review & pics of the Golden Fleece! DH & I originally wanted to have dinner there one night of our cruise, but never did because we had great tablemates at Truffles... I suppose that's the reason... ???

I'm really looking forward to 'going back' to Cozumel!
