I happened to run across the old Nordic Prince while I was in Yokahama recently. At first I did not recognize her because they had removed the Viking Crown Lounge and obviuosly the new cruise line had repainted her. But when I started to look at her carefully I realized it was the same ship. I have attached a photo that I took. Good Sailing, Murf

 

Yes that's her! At the time, we thought this was the largest ship ever. Now I have to chuckle because my closet is bigger than our stateroom was. ;)

If you didn't bring a costume from home, they would let you make your own from the stage things.

My son inlaw wrapped our daughter and I tightly in burlap, and we wore giant palm fronds on our heads. We had a net between us (a very light hammock). We could hardly see where we were going because SIL wrapped us so tightly, our eyeholes in the burlap were shifted to the side. :D:D

What a great thread. Just yesterday we were laughing about old times on cruises. So many good memories.
