Grand Cayman

Ive cruised Grand Cayman before but I dont remember what hotel we went to on Seven Mile Beach. I am cruising on the Carnival Conquest but do not want to book this excursion with them as it is super expensive vs taking a taxi. Can anyone recommend a good beach/

Restaurant/Bar on seven mile beach that you can taxi to and purchase umbrella/chairs. Thank You

There are several "beaches"--Sea Grape" is one. All of the public access points have chair and umbrella rental, restrooms, watersport rental, etc...

We hopped a bus and got off at the 3rd beach---(it looked pretty!) and had a wonderful day!

Do keep an eye on the traffic (not hard--the road is right there) and watch out for traffic jams--it took us about 15 min. to get to the beach, and about 1 hour to get back due to traffic! Time your stay accordingly!

Were you perhaps thinking of the Hyatt on Seven Mile Beach? I think it is under a new name now. Don't recall what but it is posted somewhere on this board.
