Forward facing cabins

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

The family is looking at Explorer from cape Liberty next summer. One of the "ocean view" rooms actually faces forward toward the bow. That sounds fine with me, but how is the ride that far forward. I would guess in a storm the window would get splashed.

There seems to be more motion in the forward (and aft) portions of a ship. Think of a see-saw--the center is relatively stable--the ends move up and down ALOT! If motion doesn't bother you, then this will work just fine. If you are susceptible to motion sickness, then you should find a differnent location!
