Juneau excursion plans

We will be in Juneau on July 23 from 7 am to 8 pm. From what I've read I think we want to do two excursions and want to know if it's possible and if anyone has helpful suggestions. We are a family with 12 and 16 year old daughters. I would like to do whale watching since I hear its best in Juneau. Also I think my daughters would like to see the musher's camp and go dog sledding. Can we do both? Who do you recommend for dog sledding - I am thinking we can't afford the helicopter ride so have to go with the "in the woods" option. Thanks
