What is this:

Where is this located:

Should we take guesses?:D

My first thought by looking at the background was the Explorers Lounge, but I have changed my mind I am guessing it is what they call Captain's Corner on the Port side of the Crow's Nest.

You people haven't been paying attention to the eurodamnews blog!! It's the sports bar near the casino. (Where else would you have baseball-glove seats? :D

I have, John! I recall the lengthy discussion about these seats in the Sports Bar!

Truthfully I forgot:o It just did not look like the Sports Bar with the windows opened, usually it is dark in the Sports Bar on the Vista's

I think the 'baseball glove seats' are great. See the baseball in the glove. Cool for an all-American sport to be featured on the EUROdam. :)

Fun!

Did you get to the Tamarind ladies' pic Sail? If not I'll EMAIL it to you! :)

I remember when we first saw Noordam only in photos and the different look we saw when we boarded. It's really hard to tell how it 'feels' until aboard and seeing for ourselves. Noordam is a magnificent ship IMO and I think Eurodam is as well.

Everything I have seen and read so far sounds Wonderful!!!

Thanks, John. I kept getting kicked off IE, John. I'd love to see the photo if it isn't too much trouble for you. Thank you.

Thank you so much for posting such amazing pictures. I just love (with some exceptions) the simplicity of design on this ship.

Carol, I believe that was cabin 6173, not 1673 (you probably just transferred the numbers:) I love having the beds nearer the balcony and the sea. You can waken each morning and look out at the ocean! There are other lines that do this and I've always thought it was a better configuration. It makes the entire dressing area more workable. Love it!

Carol, 6173 is a VA on the stern. ;)

Thank you for that info. When I input Eurodam Deck Plans, I come up with it being an aft VB. Maybe I'm getting an old web site. It's the first one that comes up on yahoo search. I'll have to check on the HAL web site instead. Anyway, thanks.

I did reverse the numbers, which is something I ususally never do, however the HAL web site is also showing 6173 as very close to the aft, last cabin before it, and a VB. Someone please help since I must be having a very bad senior moment.

Thank you very much for taking all those pics...I had high hopes for the Eurodam and now I am even more excited.

Any info on the "as you wish" on this ship? This will be our first time on HA. We have done anytime dining with Princess but not sure if this would be the same.

Thanks.

It's the last side-facing VB on the starboard side, next to SC6175. Did you see the last few posts on "eurodam is taking shape ... " where we've been discussing that connecting door?

I checked the HAL website earlier, and 6137 is aft on the starboard side...the last stateroom before a corner suite. The door, next to the TV is shown in the photo, is on the wall toward the suite. Unless the photo has been reversed.

The photo is not reversed. To be honest I did not really think about the connecting door. We were rushing around for the most part exploring the ship. I can see the thinking behind the idea though.
Is the Kings Room for private parties? Is it part of the main diningroom?
On the Original plans this area next to the dining room on the lower level of the dining room was refered to as a Private Dining Room.

Now it has been given a name - The King's Room. On the R class ships the King's Room is used for Delux suite passengers as a place to have breakfast other than the main dining room, the Lido or the Neptune.

I'll bet that once breakfast is over, that dining room will be used for private parties and a place for the captain and hotel manager to host special dinners.

Thank you for the photos. It was a joy to look through them. I so wish I could sail with everyone this week--I know, "get in line!"
Ship looks wonderful. I'm sure these next few days will be glorious on board!
I was wondering if the cinnamon rolls and other food items in the explorers lounge are free or an extra charge?
I believe that you are referring to the Explorations Cafe.

They are free IF you buy a coffee.
