legend 5299

I just booked room 5299 on the legend....it is an aft balcony, but not the wrap around...it is in the middle of the ship, aft.

 

Has anyone ever been in those rooms?

 

I have never been aft before............will i like it.?

laundry room is located across the hall-VERY convienent.

 

Long walk tot he stairs/elevators--makes up for the extra desserts. Halls are quieter back here. Balcony could get warm during the day--keep the curtains closed to the cabin to keep it cool.

So we had to take what we could get..

 

I was concerned with it still being opened, it might be a terrible place to be!!!!

I also booked this room, not even realizing it was an aft room. I was thinking about calling to switch. I am worried it might be too sunny and not really as private as the side rooms. HUMMMM

Having sailed the aft 7 out of 10 times it is the only place for me.

 

I dont worry about being on the wrong side for scenery or looking at the port- either you back in or pull in--either way the view is good.

I can see both sides in the ocean--not jsut one.. and the wake ahhhh, priceless

I'm booked in room 5268 on the Legend for next spring (May 31st). I have heard great things about aft balconies and such. I can't wait!

Denise I will definitely let you know how we enjoyed the Legend when we return. Looking forward to this cruise for some much needed R & R. The Miracle cruise was with our children & grandchildren and we had a ball, but this one is just hubby & I. We also just booked the Glory for 5/2/08 and we will be 17 (all family).

We were in cabin 7300 on the Legend last year, same room different deck.

You are going to love the aft, privacy is the same as a side balcony except

for 1 foot at front.
