I think the beer price was about $3.50 per beer. I could be wrong on that as I didn't have any. They also sell "helmets" of beer fashioned like a football helmet at a lesser price. All drinks on the ship, including beer, have a 15% tip added. No cash is used on the ship.

Not only is no cash required, no cash is welcome. The prefer everything be put on your sign and sail card. You can pay in cash at the end of the cruise if you want. As for wine; we did find someth8ing enteresting: wine is cheaper if you buy from the casino bar; I don't know why. At least it was for us.

GTV Cruiser,

We just got off the Sea in September. The price for one domestic beer is $3.75 including tip. The price for the helmet is $18.69 including tip (I think the helmet holds 6 beers). When you buy your first helmet, they get a $5.00 deposit which they credit back when you return the helmet. If you drink mixed drinks (I drink Tangueray and Tonic), the cost for my T & T was $4.89 including tip. Hope this helps.
