Wheelchair

Does anyone know whether or not RCL has wheelchairs available for passengers? I would hate to have to bring one if they are available on the ship.

I was curious about this also. Has anyone rented a power mobility scooter on a ship?

If you know you need one, then either bring one from home or use a service like Care Vacations to order one and have it delivered to the ship. There are a few companies that deliver things like wheelchairs and scooters to the ships - I would ask on the Disabled Cruising board for recommendations of companies.

 

Usually they do have a few wheelchairs available for emergency purposes, but if you know you need one, you cannot rely on the fact that they will have one available on your cruise. Also, the ones I've seen have been large and unwieldy.
