Hubby and I are booked on the Sapphire Princess Oct25-Nov 1. Last year, the World Series started on Oct 24, so it may be going on during our cruise.

 

Any guesses as to whether or not they will show it on board?

 

And if so, where they might show it?

IF they show it, it is very possible it would be on your stateroom TV, or in the sports bar, or 'fill in the blanks'. Satellite reception comes into play here so it will all depend.

we were on a cruise at Super Bowl time- they showed it on tv, in the sports bar and had a lounge set up as a super bowl party- any sports event will be used as an excuse to party, so don't worry- they will make the world's series a fun and festive time for all.

There is no guarantee that the World Series will be shown. A lot depends upon what the international ESPN schedule turns out to be along with satellite reception. It is likely that at least some of the games will be shown but not necessarily live.:)

We did the Sapphire one year during the World Series and I could get it on our TV in the cabin but it was only on International ESPN so it was in Spanish, but since I was in a pool, I just needed to be able to see the scores not understand all that was said!
