Teetype Posted July 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2008 For those of you with questions about weather in your destinations, WUNDERGROUND.com (a.k.a WeatherUnderground) has a terrific little tool. Input your destination and the dates of travel and it will return the historical weather data for the area. It's a little rough in that it may not understand the name of the destination you input. It's easiest to use the 3 letter airport designator (YVR for Vancouver, B.C., or LAX for Los Angeles, for example). If 3 letter codes aren't available for your city, and you get an error message on the first try, keep trying. Also be aware that the names by which we know a city may not be the names by which weather services identify them. Example: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico will be identified as San Jose del Cabo. This is certainly not an original idea. What I appreciated with this one is the ease of use, as well as the anonymity it allows. No sign ups. Additionally, where some others simply list cities, this one allows you to enter them giving more options for info. Trip Planner http://www.wunderground.com/tripplanner/index.asp Cheers! paul929207 Posted July 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2008 For Princess cruises, it is much easier, just go to Princess.com and find your itinerary. Then click weather and scroll thru your ports.

Then click weather and scroll thru your ports. Hi Paul: Certainly for you this works best. Some, however, want more details, less editorial. Still others may be traveling out of the port area for a day. Example: Mexican Riviera ports have very different weather details than interior Mexico.
