loveJake Posted July 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2008 I used this company, but since I had no claims I do not know how good they are.
Dot Cotton Posted July 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2008 red1der1, I've used them in the past with no problems. There was a thread about access america the other day-seemed like everyone liked them. Here is the link: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=811369 I hope that works-I've never done a link before. If not maybe do a search for Access America posted on July 17. Cheers! Cruzman Posted July 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2008 You might wanna check this one out. It's a current thread and does not speak well of Access America. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=814677
Purifyer Posted July 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2008 Has anyone used this company for their travel insurance? Did you have good or bad experiences with them?? Any info would be great Thanks! Why use Access America when you can get the same or better coverage with other companies? We were steered towards them last year but we went with a company I found with insuremytrip DOT com. Lots of companies to choose from for less money. :D Dale
zqvol Posted July 24, 2008 #6 Share Posted July 24, 2008 You might wanna check this one out. It's a current thread and does not speak well of Access America. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=814677 There is more to that situation than meets the eye. How far removed is someone to qualify as family? That is the issue there. Read your policies carefully.
Cruzman Posted July 24, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 24, 2008 There is more to that situation than meets the eye. How far removed is someone to qualify as family? That is the issue there. Read your policies carefully. On every policy I have ever purchased, the "death" clause defined "family member" as spouse, child, step child, sibling, aunt, uncle, parent, or grandparent. Maybe there are some that differ; I don't know, but as you said, read and know before you buy a policy.
