DivineDivia Posted July 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2008 Does any one know if you change from one cabin category to another, do they charge you the higher fuel surcharge?
gdpups Posted July 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2008 They did not charge me the higher fee when I changed my cabin several months ago (did it on two separate cruises). Just double check with RCL before you do it thought, just in case they changed their policy
vickiw0318 Posted July 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2008 You'll be keeping the same reservation number, so they'll be no change in the fuel surcharge.
Rare silentbob007 Posted July 25, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2008 I'm not sure ... if the cabin you are switching to is discounted or cheaper than what your current one is, they may add on the surcharge. The way I have heard it, they are hesitant about giving you another cabin at the "current" pricing becuase it is technically less since the new price to another customer will incur the higher fuel surcharge.
