Toledosfinest Posted April 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Yes, my wife and I took the tour to Passion island last October. It is about a 30 minute bus ride (very bumpy on the dirt roads), then a 15 minute boat ride to the island. The Island is very beautiful and has one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. Some of the Corona Beer Commercials are filmed there. You will get a real nice buffet lunch, and enjoy ALL the corona beer and margaritas you can drink. The water is only about 4-5 ft, but is so clear and sandy. Conch shells are found everywhere. Yes it is worth it.
cruizinmimi Posted April 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Highly recommend We also have been to Cozumel several times and when we went in Nov. 03 we tried Passion Island. I found it to be a wonderful day. Great, beautiful clean beach. The restrooms were very clean, great buffet and the coronas are very cold. Go and enjoy!! royalcaribbeanfan Posted April 10, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2004 GO. You will have a great time. My husband and I went on our honeymoon and it was great. Try the Passion Island Punch. It tastes like fruit punch but has a much bigger kick! Happy Cruising Patty

parr0thead Posted April 11, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 11, 2004 We have done Passion Island twice and loved it. The buffet lunch is very good, restrooms are clean, it is a beautiful beach day, and unlimited drinks. The guides are very good and get things going on the beach. They have volley ball, water balloon contest or you can just grab a hammock and totally relax. There is usually time for a little shopping in town after the tour. Just get a taxi back to the ship. I don't do much snorkeling, but I don't think it was good here. Go for it! You will have a nice time.
