Exactly. Love new places. and it will be great to spend a day in SJ instead of the evening hours activities.

I've been to SJ 4 times I think during the day......The Bacardi tour is ...burp....great...The forts are cool as he!!....believe it or not the government building is really cool. Some of the churches are unbelievable and the rain forest ain't bad.......

Did I mention some of the bars there a killer........:eek: :eek:

Wow, Liv may just entice some folks to book! :) We did this basic itin over New Years (with the exception of one port) and we loved it!! We had a sea day at the end, but they are no biggie to us one way or the other. Maybe when things settle down for us and the pricing is out, I can try to talk the kids into taking vacation so hubby and I can do this!

It's a great itinerary! I've been to all the ports except Dominica.... St. Lucia and Barbados are great!

Allen, we did the Malibu rum tour in Dominica...free samples afterwards! But hubby had been overserved the night before, so they still had rum when we left. The beach there is beautiful, the port however is not, it is a working port. Dominica is flat, no volcanoes or anything of that sort to see, the main tours I hear are golf or beach trips. It is actually a departure/embarkation point as well as San Juan. Just put me on a ship and I am happy with the ports. :)

I just checked R/T flights direct from Tampa (American)....Just threw in a few dates...

$282.00....

If I fly to Miami for my next cruise instead of drive it's $190.00....

Actually got a chuckle and when the nieces and nephews were young they might have agreed with you. Now they just think of me as a walking wallet:rolleyes:

 

Next weekend is the roadtrip to Baltimore with nephew. No idea what I'm going to talk to a man of 21 for 4 days but :eek: guess I'll manage until the game on Monday. Then at least we'll have something to talk about:o
