Hi folks, I don't know if this is the right board to post this on, but does anyone happen to have a picture of what it looks like when you are getting off the ship onto a tender?

Does the tender depend on the size of the ship?

 

When we went to grand cayman with carnival the ship that took us from boat to port was actually quite big. I think much bigger than those posted here?!

Some ports, Grand Cayman and Mexico come to mind, use local tenders. You are right, they are larger.

yeah those are local tenders...

The local tenders in Cabo San Lucas are smaller than Princess' tenders, but between them all, they have enough to get everyone ashore and back efficiently.

Princess tenders can hold about 100- 120 people when used as a tender. That is if they fill it absolutely full. If it were used as a life boat they would put about 150-160 people in the boat.
