IdRathrBCruzn Posted August 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Are the bathroom products still Aqua di Parma? or have they changed recently? Will be on the Whisper in 2 weeks. Thanks!
meow! Posted August 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2008 When we were on the Shadow in December last year, we were offered a choice of Bulgari, Aqua di Palma and Neutragena, of which we took a mixture!

IdRathrBCruzn Posted August 13, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Cool! Thanks. I can take shampoo and conditioner out of my "Baggie" now.
meow! Posted August 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2008 We found Aqua di Parma (also available in stores in Fort Lauderdale) to be nice and "neutral", while Bulgari was also nice but a bit more strongly scented. You can ask your cabin attendants to buy those products on board the ship. Bulgari costs around $6 each, while Aqua di Parma is a little more expensive at around $8 each. Hope this helps. DebbieH103 Posted August 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2008 On our December and May cruises, we were also offered Bvulgari, Aqua de Parma, and Neutrogena, but I find the Bvulgari to be much milder than the Aqua de Parma and much prefer it. It is nice to have a choice.
IdRathrBCruzn Posted August 15, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Good info. Thanks. I agree, it's nice to have choices. Any of those will be fine for us. As we are going to try carry-on luggage only, so we wanted to be sure we could leave our shampoo and conditioner at home and not be stuck with some inferior product if Silversea had decided to change recently. IdRathrBCruzn Posted August 17, 2008 Author #9 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Yep, if Alitialia allows us each to carry on 22" rollers and small backpacks. The cruise is just 7 days.

Not been on SS for 2 years, but will be on the Cloud again soon, they certainly didn't charge for refills/extras then.....shampoo/conditioner/shower gel was restocked as & when (& without question), they were a little less generous with soap, but there was still plenty to take home :D They were only charging for the gift sets & cologne in the boutique. Have things changed??
meow! Posted August 28, 2008 #12 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Of course, all "refills" are free. However, if you want to buy a set, or take half a dozen of some particular item home because you like it so much, you can purchase them, just ask the cabin staff!
