Cocktail suggestions?

Since you are sailing with HAL you could Cucumber Lime Smash (sounds weird, tastes wonderful, very refreshing) or a South Seas Aviation. Both are really good and I've never seen either of them on any other cruiseline. The Mojitos on HAL are also great. I did the Ryndam Mexico cruise in April this year, had a blast.

 

Whatever your choice of drink, have a blast and have one for me!:D :p

I like to try the various drinks of the day and the fun thing is they usually rhyme... Bahama Mama, Miami Whammy, Alabama Slamma, Mai Tai, Coco Loco - you get the idea... trying saying them after you've had a couple! :D

I really enjoyed reading this thread, I can't wait to have a cocktail in my hand when we sailaway on our first cruise on the Coral in 18 days time. There seems to be no shortage of different concoctions, I may have to pace myself ;)

CowPrincess, We too will be on the Ryndam at the end of November for the Sea of Cortez cruise. Have never tried vodka and tonic but it sounds like a great drink while on a cruise ship. Might be very good with a bit of lime or lemon. Enjoy the cruise and the recommended drinks.

I totally recommend the Coco Loco if on RCL. So yummy!! You could try a pear berry martini. It consists of pear vodka and cranberry juice and is served up. Very tasty and not too sweet.

Ok the Apple Martini is fantastic at the wine bar, so try that. but don't drink to many because they really hit you fast, thats why I love them also.

The classic Gimlet is is my weapon of choice. In recent days I tend order them with Vodka instead of Gin.
