I previously posted here regarding above suite re wind issues, locked wraparound and closed curtains due to bridge navigation and I was advised to change cabins but all suites were waitlisted. Now a penthouse suite has become available (next category up) and I have changed to it. Midship C420. Please tell me I have done the right thing! It cost a bit more but if it means I can relax between now and the cruise it is well worth it. Anyone stayed in this cabin? Thanks.

C420 is just fine. I was one of the posters who told you about B104 and the issues that it had. I was upgraded to that suite and while I enjoyed the suite itself the location, wind, locked balcony, etc. was the pits. I would never pay for that suite.

Thanks Marilyn. I was hoping you would reply. I personally think they should downgrade those forward suites, how can they be classifield as premium suites with all those issues. Even the bathrooms are not really suite bathrooms.

We completely enjoyed our Suite B107 (Starboard side) on the Diamond a few years back. We had no wind issues, the door is on the starboard side of the suite, not directly in the front. We did the 7 day to the Mexican Riviera. We spent hours on our wrap around balcony while sailing and in port. :)

Thank you for your reply. Lovely photos. I don't suppose I will ever know if I made the right decision but we have got 10 sea days on our cruise and I didn't want to take the chance that we would not be able to fully use our balcony, the reason we chose B104 in the first place. I have read so many negatives and hardly any positives about the cabin. It is odd that they lock the wraparound for some passengers and not others, and that some people are allowed their curtains open and light on balcony and not others.
