day room or beach facilities for late flight out?

Are there any hotels on the beach that offer a day rate for a room after our cruise, or any hotels that allow cruise guests to use their beach and facilities for a fee? We are probably going to get bumped to a late flight when AA reconfigures their schedule.

The Marriott Stellaris does a day pass for around $40 per person. If you have more than 3 people, you can consider bidding for a resort room on Priceline, you would have all the privileges of a day pass even if your room isn't ready and it would surely be ready by early afternoon.

Phone the Marriott direct using the local number - I have seen people on here say that day rooms are available and I have also seen on other forums people saying they are not. It probably depends on who you get to speak to.

Yes, as noted above, I don't think they will ever guarantee the availability of a day pass, since if they are booked solid they don't want to crowd things too much. If you are going during low season, you should be fine, but always call ahead to make sure there isn't anything like a convention going on so they are full.

We have gotten day rooms at the Caribe Hilton before. You have to call that morning to see if they have availability. We had the room and use of the facility from 9-5.
