Booman14 Posted August 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Just a quick question about changing your plans. How late can you change you trip plans. I am going on the Holiday out of Mobile in November, and have already paid for my trip. Can I change my trip, lets say to leave out of New Orleans, instead? How long before it's cruise time can you do this? Thanks in advance.

If you booked with a TA they might charge you a change fee. Bill
STiVo Posted August 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2008 I'm pretty sure it's 90 days out with no penalty. We changed our vacation from one ship to another at 120 days out with no issue whatsoever.
yst347 Posted August 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Here is the policy. In a nutshell you can cancel without penalty before final payment. If you booked through a travel agent, they may charge you a penalty but Carnival will not. http://www.carnival.com/CMS/Static_Templates/ticket_contract.aspx 6. CANCELLATION BY GUEST, REFUNDS Reservations will be held until 30 minutes prior to departure. No refunds will be made in the event of “no shows”, unused tickets, lost tickets, interruptions, partially used tickets, or cancellations received late or after the start of the cruise. A cancellation occurs when a stateroom is released and not simultaneously rebooked on the same sailing. Carnival strongly recommends the purchase of trip cancellation insurance from your travel agent. Cancellation charges for individual bookings will be assessed as listed below. Chan_T Posted August 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2008 If you are not past the final payment date, then it shouldn't be a problem...as you can simply cancel your current cruise and book the one that you want.
