hototo Posted August 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2008 Can you believe what airfare is going for next year to Europe ? It's almost more than the cruise prices. I;m thinking this has to hurt cruising away from the US for US residents!
SelectSys Posted August 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2008 Can you believe what airfare is going for next year to Europe ? It's almost more than the cruise prices. I;m thinking this has to hurt cruising away from the US for US residents! Look for more airfare bundled with cruises. Next summer is likely to have good prices given that the economy is also slowing in Europe now. It is really hard for the cruise lines to alter capacity quickly in response to changing demand. Rob & Beckys mom Posted August 20, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Try the cruiseline air, it might be less. Worth a try. Jan
Rob & Beckys mom Posted August 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Try the cruiseline air, it might be less. Worth a try, especially in open jaw flights...as I'm sure you know is flying into one port & flying home from another.:) Jan
biker1972 Posted August 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Before using cruiseline air read the first sticky! Then if you choose cruiseline air you at least know what you are getting and what to expect if the worst happens. Educate yourself about consolidator tickets and what the cruiseline will do for you if there are problems ( or what they won"t do to help!) There are flights that most likely will meet your needs, are within the same parameters price wise AND will NOT have the VERY stringent restrictions that come with cruise air. You will need to post your airports and dates for SPECIFIC help. PLEASE read through the first few pages of this thread BEFORE you book cruise air so you know what you are getting yourself into: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=530322
