I thought folks might appreciate a heads-up on these sailings that don't have single supplements. I know they can be hard to come by!

I'm already booked on the Star, Vancouver to LA. I'm going as a solo and already paid a single supplement. I wonder if I could get a rebate of some of the money, or at least a conversion to OBC? Anyone have any idea of the chance?

Winnie, I received an e-mail that included the promotion from an NCL rep. This is the first time I have received one.

slidergirl, it is worth a try. I have gotten upgrades in the past in this type of situation, but it seems that in the past year, NCL has gotten pretty inflexible, stating that promotions are for "new bookings only". Do you have a personal cruise consultant with NCL? If not, I would be prepared to talk to a few people, going up the chain to try to get an adjustment of some kind. They might not be willing, though. Good luck, and I hope you have a great cruise! I live in Washington State and love the Star, so this is the one that is most tempting to me. I am trying to get a new job, though, so it looks like I will miss out on the Fall repos. Maybe next year!

I was able to get this great deal for my husband (he's retired and LOVES cruising) and just found it when I was searching the web for a lowcost cruise for him to take by himself!

He's on the 10/28 Jewel cruise - BA Balcony cabin - total cost a little less than $1500.00.

I kept thinking it was a mistake & didn't tell him about it because I didn't want to disappoint him! :) Documents issued yesterday & he's counting the days!

FWIW - This is the 2nd cruise I've booked thru smartcruiser.com and think I got a great deal both times!

(*JEESH* I just realized I need to update my cruise info below *LOL*)
