jdh Posted August 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2008 That sounds like a great deal. How long is your cruise? We did a 4 night on Sovereign in March and our parking alone for that cruise was $75. Thats like only paying $50 for your hotel and shuttle...go for it! Have not stayed at that hotel as we only live 45 miles from the port, but how bad can any Sheraton be???? Have a great time on your cruise. I am counting the days till Nov 20 when we sail out of Tampa on the Grandeur...yippee!

gacathy Posted August 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2008 The Radisson is a popular choice also and they offer free shuttle and parking. We are going next month and I have not chosen between the two yet. Although we are going to just bite the bullet and pay for parking at the pier to avoid having to wait for taxis or shuttle. san4u2 Posted August 20, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2008 We stayed at the Radisson in June for $99 a night.( just kept looking at different sites until I found a good deal, depending on the time of year will depend on the deal.) If you stay there sign up as soon as you make your reservations for the shuttle over. We where a large group and just had a taxi take us earlier than the shuttles as they were full. However the shuttles were right there to pick us up on our return trip.
Georgiagolfer Posted August 20, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Radisson has a $99 cruise special, with free parking and shuttle service to/from hotel to ship. Stayed there 5 times and never had a bad experience. Parking is $15 a day at the port.
Transman Posted August 20, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 20, 2008 The Double Tree and Hampton Inn offer Park and cruise programs. We have stayed at both. They have a out side shuttle service. It is $4.00 each way per person plus tip.It has worked out fine in the past. The two hotels are related to the Hilton hotel chain and are very nice to stay in.We stayed at the Double Tree earlier this year and will stay there in October for our last time on the Mariner out of this port. Happy cruising
