Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale

We are on the Emerald in November and will arrive the day before. Any recommendations for a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale will be appreciated. Also, how far is it from the cruise port?

I've been to the Extended Stay on 17th St. Clean and quiet. It's a 10 minute drive to the pier.

Both within a block or 2 of the pier.

The Hampton Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport will pick you up from the airport and then take you to the port. The rate also includes a free breakfast in the morning. Hope this helps.

We are staying at the Riverside Hotel, on Las Olas Blvd. Stayed here last year also and loved it!

Comfort Inn is next to Hampton Inn; 10 min shuttle to pier...*very* basic room but clean and comfy if you're just looking for a bed not a vacation.

We are staying at the Hampton Inn on 12th. They offer free shuttle from the airport and to the port, which is great for my family flying in. DH and I are driving and they are allowing me to keep my car there for $20 for the week.
