cancelling shore tours?

we have confirmation of the shore tours that we chose but have decided we want to cancel one because we just want to explore the island ourselves...my question is do we need to advise p&o now or can we just cancel that tour at the pursers desk once on the ship??

If you advise them now, it will open up the opportunity for someone else who may miss out and book something else if it is full.

 

As previously mentioned you need to cancel at least 24hrs prior, or you will not be refunded.
