Diamond perks if no CL

Recommended Posts

All of the following are "maybe" because it seems to vary depending on the ship and departure port.

1. Priority boarding with separate waiting area w/ refreshments

2. Treats delivered to you stateroom (petit fours, chocolate covered strawberries)

3. Gift from RCCL (fanny pack, tote bag, picture frame, etc)

4. Priority tender tickets

5. Some sort of party or reception exclusive to Plat. and Diamond members

6. Debarkation lounge with continental breakfast

We have gotten all of these on some cruises and some on others. None are a really big deal, but nice to have, nonetheless. Enjoy your cruise!

You will get the usual coupon book, and the Discount off a Balcony cabin. Priority embark and disembarkment. ;) That's all FOLKS!

Sorry but this is OT...

Shirl, we need your expertise on this thread as we are discussing cruise credits when redeeming Visa points for the free cruise...............and I know that YOU know the answer!:)

Thanks folks! Last time I was on the Monarch I was Platinum, so we got some of the perks, like the P/D/D+ cocktail party and the debarkation lounge. Just wondered if there was anything new now that we're Diamond. I hope we get a little goodie in our cabin, like the strawberries or petit fours. We got them on our last cruise and that ship had a CL!

5. Some sort of party or reception exclusive to Plat. and Diamond members: yes...very nice tidbits: I make a pig of myself on the chocolate strawberries.

My answers in red above are based on seven cruises on the Monarch out of Los Angeles. I love the crew!
