EOS Family Suites

We are planning a family cruise to either Bermuda or the Caribbean next summer on the Explorer of the Seas. We are 9 adults and 5 children. Wondering about booking one Family Suite and then for the others staterooms in the same area. DH & It have had an EOS Grand Suite, midship and it was super great but I see the Family Suites are aft in the stern. Seems so far removed and wonder how the "ride" is in that area. I would appreciate any advice, input, suggestions on what others have done. I also cannot decide to book on line, go to a TA or book directly through RCCL. Any help would also be appreciated. The TA that we have used in the past has retired and I don't know anyone else in her former agency so I am at square one so to say.

Looking forward to hearing from fellow cruisers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
