Cabin on Lido deck?

Cap 1

Recommended Posts

We are looking at a balcony cabin on the Lido deck on Carnival Freedom. Has anyone stayed in a Lido deck cabin? I think it would be very convenient to the pool, bars & breakfast buffet. But I am concerned about noise.

Choose carefully! We loved being so close to the pool, movie screen, FOOD :), etc., but I wouldn't recommend anything between 9272 - 9280 on the port side, or 9271 - 9279 on the starboard side. We were in 9276 on the Valor in May, and it was very noisy! Lots of foot traffic (because of how close you are to the pool), elevator noise, and the music that plays 'til almost 1:00 a.m. most nights in the atrium floats right up to that area of the lido deck! We weren't miserable by any means, but it was certainly noticeable, and if we sail on that class of Carnival ship again, we'd book further forward on the lido deck!
