best places to kayak & bike

Hubbie and I are going from NYC to Quebec City and would like to self tour. We'd prefer to bike & sea kayak, but also want to do a lobster bake at some point. Are bike rentals close to most ports?? Where's the best sea kayaking?? Thanks!:D

Kayaking is good at Bar Harbor and Portland.. not sure re Sydney if you go there since didn't do any of that during our port call..

Casco Bay (Portland) would be great place to Kayak and Bar Harbor is lovely ... Halifax has sooo much to offer that IMHO it's not worth the drive (almost 45 mins each way) to do that.

Our next Canada cruise will begin/end in Quebec City.. doing a "roundtrip" this year that doesn't go there but it's probably my fav city anywhere.. Hopefully you are spending a few days there! :)
