sarahvch Posted September 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2008 I am currently booked in a Deluxe Owners Suite for Alaska on the Pearl. We have been offered the Garden Villa as an upsale. I am thinking only in terms of viewing. Does anyone have an opinion on which suite is best for seeing Alaska? TIA
Budget Queen Posted September 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2008 I'm not familar with the locations, but if any are forward facing, although you may get wind, those are excellent viewing locations. On some NCL ships, the owner's suites are mid ship with the viewing of the pool, but an upper private deck, not the best from inside viewing, but the private deck sure is nice. :) IF you only want your Glacier Bay viewing day from your cabin, and you have NO plans for being out on deck, superior will be port, or front viewing. sarahvch Posted September 3, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Thanks! We decided to go for it. You are correct that the Garden Villas on the Pearl on mid ship. I was able to get the port side Garden Villa which has view from the front (does look over the pool) but also has two side balconies (port side). Based on your post I figured this would be best and offer us more viewing places with the side balconies.
